Erchao Duan, first author of OsSHI1 Regulates Plant Architecture Through Modulating the Transcriptional Activity of IPA1 in Rice

Brief bio: I got involved in the research group led by Dr. Jianmin Wan early on my undergraduate career, where I focused on the genetic regulation of rice development. During my PhD, I mainly identified the important roles of OsSHI1 transcription factor on plant architecture and PFP enzyme on grain quality in rice. I continued my postdoc research in the State Key Laboratory for Crop Genetics and Germplasm Enhancement to study about the genetic basis for rice grain quality.
