Brief bio: I grew up in a small village in Germany and learned from early on what it means to grow crop plants. I was luckily introduced to the lab of Prof. Petra Bauer in Düsseldorf for my Bachelor thesis and participated in the project of investigating PATELLIN2-IRT1 interaction ever since. Within the project, I was able to investigate the topic from many different perspectives, like biochemically, microscopy-wise, physiologically and on modeling scale.
