Brief bio: Iny Mathew is a postdoctoral researcher at the Children’s Nutrition Research Center (CNRC) of Baylor College of Medicine. Her primary research interest is to improve the tolerance of plants to environmental stress.
She specializes in Plant Molecular Biology and completed her PhD on the ‘regulation of rice seed storage proteins in rice, at the National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) based out of New Delhi, India.
She aspires to be a translational researcher, capable of delivering improved crops and plant products.
