Brief bio: In the last 10+ years of my professional career, I have gained extensive research experiences in plant molecular biology, crop genetics and breeding, plant virology, plant pathogen-host interactions, and genome editing in multiple crops (wheat, rice, soybean, sugarcane). My current research interests include understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms of wheat resistance to Fusarium head blight (FHB) and other prominent diseases and exploring novel genome editing strategies for crop improvement.
