Hi, I’m Vivek – nice to meet you all! 

A little about me. I’m a PhD student in bioinformatics at the National Institute of Plant Genome Research, India. My research focuses on building computational tools and resources to identify different types of non-coding RNAs found in plants.

As someone who works closely with biologists, I understand the need of communication in a clear and comprehensible manner, as well as being updated on new advancements in biology. I see the Plantae community as a valuable resource for plant biologists, and I’m looking forward to be an active part of it.
